TMI Tag Take 2

So, I've decided I'm going to do the TMI tag once a year now so you can see how my answers change, yadda yadda. So, here's 2015's version, and here's last year's if you wanna see!
1. What are you wearing?
Right now, a pair of trainers, 'active' jogging bottoms from Tesco, that I've so far only worn for sleep or lounging around, a Royal Navy t-shirt my sister got me when she first got into the Navy, and a fleece jacket that was also my sister's

2. Ever been in love?
Thought I was, but I was pretty naive back then. I'm quite good friends with the guy now, so all's well that ends well, I suppose.

3. Ever had a terrible breakup?
If coming to terms with unrequited love counts as a breakup, then yes, but it wasn't that terrible, I was trying to get over it anyway.

4. How tall are you?
Don't measure myself that often, if at all, so I have no clue.

5. How much do you weigh?
No idea, don't want it on the internet anyway.

6. Any tattoos?
No, but I do want some.

7. Any piercings?
Ear lobes when I was 12, I want a couple more.

8. OTP?
Trick question? I have literally just sat for two minutes trying to think of an OTP, but I don't ship them enough to call them an OTP. I haven't exactly read anything with major ships in them, nor watched anything. I don't know anymore, all the ships mould together into one massive ball.

9. Favourite show?
Agent Carter, even though I'm only 5 episodes in. Once Upon a Time's season finale was pretty good too, can't wait for Season 5.

10. Favourite bands?
Florence + the Machine, Mumford & Sons, ABBA, Fall Out Boy as well as a few random artists.

11. Something you miss?
Friends, seeing as I'm on summer half term break, but I'm seeing Olivia and Emily tomorrow. I want to see my sister too, but I'll have to settle for my other sister seeing as D's in Portsmouth.

12. Favourite song?
OR

13. How old are you?
Halfway to thirty, turning 16 in September.

14. Zodiac?
Virgo

15. Qualities you look for in a partner?
Sense of humour that's similar to mine (otherwise, they'd think I was mad), compassionate, considerate, and not a douche.

16. Favourite quote?
If all the world's a stage, Then life's an improv
Eve Patchett

17. Favourite actor?
Chris Evans, with Scarlett Johansson a close second, the rest of the Avengers are somewhere behind that.

18. Favourite colour?
Purples or blues.

19. Loud music or soft?
As in loud volume or loud style, I don't know. Volume depends on the situation, but I generally prefer a softer style.

20. Where do you go when you're sad?
I'm in my bedroom 24/7, so that's a no-brainer.

21. How long does it take you to shower?
20-30 minutes, but seeing as I take them at night, I can take as long a shower as I like.

22. How long does it take you to get ready in the morning?
At the minute, around half an hour to 40 minutes, but I'm trying to shorten that, as I've been coming to school late most mornings these last couple of weeks.

23. Ever been in a physical fight?
I prefer internet fights. hidden by a laptop screen, but I haven't been in a full-on fight, no.

24. Turn on?
Good sense of humour? I don't know, I'm 15.

25. Turn off?
Being rude or misogynistic, please don't.

26. The reason I joined blogger?
Some friends got blogs, and I wanted to try it out, and have a place to write and call my own.

27. Fears?
Spiders, flying insects, losing control, falling, are the main ones.

28. Last thing that made you cry?
I have no idea, I think it was a DofE, I was feeling so defeated.

29. Last time you said you loved someone?
A couple of days ago to my mum, I think.

30. Meaning behind your Blogger name?
When I was changing my url last September, I needed to think of something entirely different for my username so that the people I didn't want finding me, couldn't. Pen, pretty explanatory, is for writing, and Key is for either keys on a music keyboard, or on a laptop.

31. Last book you read?
I always take this as finished, and the last one I finished was the Death Cure by James Dashner.

32. Book you're currently reading?
The Moment Collector by Jodi Lynn Anderson.

Messiah IV: The Harrowing

34. Last person you talked to?
My eldest sister.

35. Relationship between you and the last person you texted?
My dad.

36. Favourite food?
Still liking pasta, and all things egg.

37. Place you want to visit?
Right now, Spain sounds pretty good.

I was at Beamish a couple of days ago, and I've been in the same two acres of land since.

Unless Chris Evans counts, no.

40. Last time you kissed someone?
Saying good night to my parents last night.

41. Last time you were insulted?
No clue.

Strawberry or raspberry. Mum brought me raspberry sherbet yesterday, I didn't do anything until I'd finished the lolly it came with, and my mouth is still sore from how coarse it was.

43. What instruments do you play?
I sing, I think I'm working at a grade 5 or 6 now.

44. Favourite piece of jewellery?
A necklace I got off my great-aunt for Christmas, she sends me jewellery from all her old travels every Christmas and birthday, but the most recent one is my favourite.

Heavy in your Arms, Florence + the Machine.

Your eyes are a lovely colour of mud brown.

48. Have you ever used it?
Only when messing on with a friend in science.

49. Last time you hung out with someone?
I was hanging out with my mum's WI friends on Saturday at Beamish. God help me if I grow up to be like them.

Anybody who wants to!

There you have it, a TMI tag that I've been meaning to do for a month, whoops!

The British Tag

I got tagged by the lovely Layla to do the British Tag, and I hereby tag all my British people, because I can't be bothered writing all of you down, but I know you're there!

1. How many cups of tea do you have a day? How many sugars?
I feel like the anti-Brit when I say I don't actually drink tea. I don't mind berry tea, that's alright, but I'm not a tea drinker, I'm sorry.

2. Favourite part of your roast?
Aaargh. First off, I'd say you haven't lived if you haven't tried my mum's Sunday roast, I legitimately wait the entirety of Sunday in anticipation of my roast. It'll have to be a toss-up between yorkshire puddings and pork crackling, but I love pretty much every component.

3. Favourite dunking biscuit?
Rich teas or plain old digestives.

4. Favourite quintessentially British pastime?
Complaining about the weather, does that count? I wouldn't say it's my favourite, but I do it a lot!

5. Favourite word?
Probably 'bloody', because it sounds like such a British swear word to me, I can't imagine an American saying bloody if they aren't impersonating a British person. Also, it's so versatile; bloody can be used to describe something postiviely ('that was bloody brilliant') or negatively ('this has been the bloody worst day'), and I just love it.

6. Cockney rhyming slang?
I know what it is, but I don't use it. Apart from 'Pete Tong' (wrong) which I can't figure out where I picked that one up from. None of my friends even know what it means. To put it in context, you would say 'It's all gone Pete Tong', in place of 'It's all gone wrong'.

7. Favourite sweet?
Haribos, or Fruit Pastilles.

8. What would your pub be called?
Something traditional, like The Queen's Head or something like that.

9. Number 1 British person?
Eek, that's not fair. I'd have to say Prince Harry, what's more number 1 than royalty?

10. Favourite shop/restuarant?
Favourite grocery shop would be Sainbury's, favourite specialist shop would be Boots probably. Favourite restaurant, the pub across the road, the March Hare.

11. What British song pops into your head?
Awake My Soul - Mumford & Sons

12. Marmite?
Never tried it, don't know if I will!

Things I Like About Me Tag

Before I actually start this, I'd like to say thank you to Layla for nominating me for this, you're making me think for once, and secondly, in no way am I trying to brag here. I can certainly list things I like about myself easily, but I can also easily list things I don't particularly like about myself too, but we'll be saving that talk for later.
* * * * *
Physically, I'd say I most like my eyes. I like that they're not on solid colour and that they can change depending on certain things. I like that a little bit of eyeliner can make them seem bolder and maybe even darker. I don't know, but if you asked for my defining feature, it would be my eyes.

I like my hair too, I suppose. Some days it annoys me to high hell, bu that's the fun of natural hair. The fact that it's long and can be done in so many different ways is amazing to me, and I'm still learning different styles I can do.

Ask me about my character, and I'll probably be able to describe the ones on the page better. If you asked for a definitive 'type' you'd have to let me get back to you, in a few years when I maybe have a definitive 'type'.

The Eve behind the screen, she's book-ish, laughs too loud, and isn't quick to make decisions.
FOUND ONE
I like the fact that I'm stubborn. Weird, I know, but I know that I can stand my ground. Yes, I may stutter when it comes to public speaking, but I know what I'm trying to say, and it may take a few tries, but I'll get my point across. I consider things before I say them, and just like the way I take ages to write a sentence whilst wanting to get it right, I will backtrack whilst speaking because I think I've worded it wrong.

I like that I've become a person that people enjoy being around; whether it's a teacher who defines me as a pleasure to teach, or a friend who, no matter my weird actions and strange personality, still somehow sticks by me (shoutout to you guys, you know who you are).
* * * * *
I can't really think of anymore right now. I'm rubbish, I know, but part of me, I think is still stuck in ten year old insecurities. Hopefully this year will be the year to work on those, if not beat them. Maybe I'll tell you about them, maybe I won't.

Quick little thing today, enjoy your week, see you on Wednesday,
Eve <3

The Handwriting Tag

Yesterday's post was kinda short, so I'm throwing in a random tag just to make up for that. Thankfully it isn't as long as last year's TMI Tag, but it did take a while.
Would this be counted as truthful? I don't know if my English teacher would say so. This is my neat handwriting; the one I use in my history book after writing out my notes in my horrendous handwriting in class. I have literally resorted to writing notes on the front of my geography assessments to apologise for the monstrosity that is me trying to answer all the questions in the time I have (apparently my test was the most amusing in the class because of it) so I think I may add a page of my notes to the end of this as a comparison just to show you.
I've kind of jumbled the questions together, because there were two different sets I came across.
And here are those History examples I promised, because I cannot let you believe that this ^ is my true handwriting! All of these examples are waiting to be copied into my actual History coursebook. My method for notes is write as legibly as I can on lined paper in class (my teacher changes slides so quickly) then copy it out in my spare time with colours to highlight certain points of my notes (that's why, in the education page, some parts are underlined)

Do you see how small this is?

So, there you go! Just a little tag to break up all the stress and stuff I've been posting recently.
I would now like to say again, I am tagging!
Layla of Laylatheawesome
Lucy of Open Letters

You have been tagged!

Have a nice weekend everyone, Eve <3

TMI TAG!!!!!!!!!

OK, a couple of my subscriptions on YouTube have done this in the last few days, so I thought I might use this as a 'getting to know you' type thing!
(This may take a couple of days, so putting dates whenever I'm on a different date - 21st April)

1.What are you wearing?

(Sidenote, all I can think about is the Hillywood Hunger Games Parody)

Mix and Match Colours for Life Pajamas
Love to Lounge Poncho

2. Ever been in love?

Currently 87% in love, according to +Shizuku Takahashi!

3. Ever had a terrible breakup?

Every morning ... with my bed
But seriously, no. You need a boyfriend for that!

4. How tall are you?

5' 5" apparently! I thought I was honestly taller.

5. How much do you weigh?

Honestly, that's really not something I want to be putting out there, but I'll tell you it's healthy for my height, and I am perfectly happy with it! :)

6. Any tattoos?

Nope, not 18, but I would like to get some done.

7. Any piercings?

I got my ear lobes done when I was 12, and that's it. I'd like to get my cartilage and maybe my lobes done again, and possibly a navel, but I'm honestly too squeamish for anything else.

8. OTP?

Chicken Nuggets and Chips ;-)

But seriously, Hinny is my OTP, or Nuna (so should have been canon), or Renora (RWBY) or most canon ships, actually!

9. Favourite show?

Any Great British show on BBC (Bake Off shouldn't be watched when hungry), The Tomorrow People, Once Upon a Time (up to season 2) & Orphan Black.

10. Favourite bands? (22nd April)

Florence + the Machine, Mumford and Sons; but to tell the truth, the music I listen to depends on the mood I'm in at that time.

11. Something you miss?

Good shows on TV (Mona the Vampire, where did you go?), my naivety. Oh, everything from when I was younger, really. My sister too, but shell be back in a month or so!

12. Favourite song?

I hate questions like this, you know. It's so hard to pick a single song as my favourite. At the minute, though,  my favourite is I Will Wait - Mumford & Sons

13. How old are you?

The lawnmower ;) (look up Bingo Lingo, if you must know)

14. Zodiac sign?

Virgo

15. Qualities you look for in a partner?

Arghhhhh, trying not to base it all off him!
Funny, smart, compassionate, considerate, cute.
(and if someone has sent you the link to this, you are all this and more, trust me)

16. Favourite quote?

I see a load of quotes, and like a lot of them, so trying to remember a really good one is hard.
I think my favourite of the moment is one I saw at +Beamish Museum in the Band Hall.
You have nothing to lose but your chains.
I just think it's an empowering statement.

17. Favourite actor?

At the moment, Amanda Seyfried is pretty high up, and Emma Watson, as always! But actors, Daniel Radcliffe, he's really branched out.

18. Favourite colour?

Any blue, but I really like turquoise and teal.

19. Loud music or soft?

Again, depends on the moment, but generally, soft.

20. Where do you go when you're sad?

Not much of a question, I'm always in my room.

21. How long does it take you to shower?

20 - 30 minutes usually.

22. How long does it take you to get ready in the morning?

Discounting breakfast and the ritual (the series of steps for caring for my braces) about half an hour for school.

23. Ever been in a physical fight?

I kicked a guy in the nuts before, but have never been in a full on brawling fight.

24. Turn on?

I'm not even 18 yet, I don't have turn ons, but I like a boy with a nice laugh who uses it often.

25. Turn off?

Being rude or putting people down, you seriously don't have the right to do that.

26. The reason I joined Blogger?

A couple of my friends got blogs, (Maya) and I followed a couple of blogs and fancied trying it out, because I only have a really bad webcam to work with, so youtube is out, and I'd just sit doing random stuff. And I wanted a place to put my writing like short drabbles and facfictions (I read a lot, and get loads of ideas for them)

27. Fears?

Other than spiders? Flying insects, and actually,
(sidenote while looking up phobia name; the name for a fear of people sneezing is, get this, 'achoophobia' - you took that opportunity, sir! Anyway...)
OK, I can't be bothered to go through the many lists and find the correct name, so I'll just come out with it. I have a fear of losing control. Literally, I was on the verge of a panic attack once because of the little control I had over a situation.
I've built a persona of confidence to mask it, and I think I have quite a few people, teachers included, fooled by it.
Truth is, I don't have the confidence to go up and talk to him, because that means putting the direction of the conversation in fate's hands, and I've always been on the side of deciding your own fate, so I just can't do it.
That's the truth, and if I just shattered your perception of me, I'm sorry.

28. Last thing that made you cry?

One thing people don't know is I'm quite susceptible to tears, but I don't cry all that much outside my home, I can literally count the number of times I've cried at school on one hand (secondary only). And now, I'm ashamed to say it was my mum, it was a petty argument that I won't go into.

29. Last time you said you loved someone?

In an email to my sister.

30. Meaning behind your Blogger name?

Basically, in Year 7, when I'd just started secondary school, and every so often, when I met new people, they'd ask me where I was from, declaring that I was 'posh'.
Since this, I have listened to myself speak, and I literally sound like I'm from the South (I'm from the heart of the North-East of England) - e.g. c-arse-tle, where most people around here say c-ass-tle. Ugh.
After watching many, many, danisnotonfire videos, I realised, I am not posh, I'm articulate, I was brought up with a wide vocabulary, and reading many books, so I just pronounce words as I want. That's just it!

31. Last book you read?

Amethyst by Heather Bowhay (so recommend, also, it's free on kindle)

32. Book you're currently reading?

Linked by Heather Bowhay (I recommend the full trilogy, it's so freaking good!)

33. Last show you watched?

Once Upon a Time, Series 2, Episode 19.

34. Last person you talked to?

+clarisse adamson on hangouts :)

35. Relationship between you and the last person you texted?

Very, very complicated (yeah, it's him)

36. Favourite food?

Pasta

37. Place you want to visit?

America, I want to go on a full American road trip and see all the things! (and Emma)

38. Last place you were?

The bathroom, performing the ritual.

39. Do you have a crush?

Not at all ;-)

40. Last time you kissed someone?

My parents last night to say goodnight

41. Last time you were insulted?

When a year 8 said, right to my face, 'you mumble' (3 weeks ago)

42. Favourite flavour of sweet?

Strawberry, all the way. Failing that, I'd go for raspberry, or cola (which is weird, because I've never liked coca cola, but always liked the popsicles and sweets - I'm a strange child)

43. What instruments do you play?

My voice, and I can play Hedwig's theme on piano, which I'm very proud that I learnt mostly by ear.

44. Favourite piece of jewellery? (23rd April)

Probably my hematite heart pendant, it goes with everything.

45. Last sport you played?

ummm, I did aerobics last time I was at school, but I'm doing Speed, Agility, Quickness on Friday.

46. Last song you sang?

I think it was Let it Go in IT to annoy Clarisse, or possibly Underdog when our teacher was playing it.

47. Favourite chat up line?

I haven't used chat up lines, but I think the fandom ones are really clever. And as corny as it is, I really like the 'Did it hurt when you fell from heaven' one.

48. Have you ever used it?

Nope, as I said earlier, I probably wouldn't have the confidence to use a chat up line.

49. Last time you hung out with anyone?

I suppose at the workshops I did in the holidays, I basically hung out with my friends for 5 days of my holidays, it was great fun. I might ask if I can post the pictures we got back today.

50. Who should do these questions next?

I'm officially tagging +Maya Gibson to do this tag, but after that, anyone who wants to, feel free!

That's the TMI tag, Articulators, see you round!
